In the month of October, My family and I traveled up to Pennsylvania to pick out my forever horse :)
We adopted Piper from New Vocations Thoroughbred Adoption.
We tried about 5 of their thoroughbreds, but Ms. Firelady (Piper)
stood out. We spent the night at hotel and talked over the horses.
I watched the videos of all the horses we tried. We decided on
Piper picking her up the next morning.
Then we were on our way home. Our Journey had just begun and i was excited.
This blog is for people like me. Wanting to save these amazing animals, full of talent , just not made for the track. So, people throw them away.
I was given a lot , i mean a LOT of crap about my decision on adopting a young thoroughbred off the track.Literally people told me i could not board my horse with them and told me I would regret getting a crazy off track thoroughbred.
